How we work
Friends of Fondation de France vets and monitors all projects using a 4-step process, ensuring that the programs are secure and reliable.
Step 1 : the applying nonprofit prepares an application file, with our support, and submits it for instruction and validation by Fondation de France and Friends of Fondation de France. A due diligence is conducted, based on documents provided by the nonprofit: we need to make sure that the organization is trustworthy and secure.
Step 2 : after the applying project is approved by our board, US based donors can make their gifts through Friends of Fondation de France, dedicating it to the organization.
Step 3 : Friends of Fondation de France wires the funds to Fondation de France, and Fondation de France transfers them to the organization, net of transaction costs.
Step 4 : one year after receiving the funds, the organization must provide Friends of Fondation de France with a report on the use of funds.
