The Early School Leaving Program, launched by Fondation de France in partnership with the French Ministry of Education, is dedicated to addressing the pressing issue of early school leaving in French society. The COVID-19 lockdown has further underscored the importance of these efforts, as the digital divide and social inequalities became more pronounced, particularly among lower-income families. Nearly 25% of low-income parents reported inadequate access to essential equipment and the Internet, compared to 17% of higher-income families. These challenges, coupled with a lack of guidance for online learning, have made the program’s work even more critical.
