In a world where cancer remains one of the first causes of mortality, Fondation ARC believes that only progress in research will pave the way to a cure for all cancers.

That is the reason why research is at the core of its mission: research against all cancers, people-oriented, dynamic and positive, open to everyone.

Fondation ARC’s every day mission is to draw the strategic orientations of research in oncology, to support the most innovative initiatives of today for tomorrow, to foster projects of scientific excellence, to detect, bring together and promote the most talented researchers, and to disseminate the knowledge that will allow us to face the disease.

Thanks to the discoveries of the scientists, boosted by the surge of solidarity from donors, Fondation ARC is now contributing to curing 60% of cancers. By 2025, it aims to bring this statistic to 2 cancers out of 3. Then, in the nearest possible future, Fondation ARC hopes to win the battle: success in curing every cancer.

Actions Led

For the last 10 years, 291.36 M€ have been dedicated to Fondation ARC’s social mission.

Fondation ARC guides and finances cancer research projects, develops and accelerates the availability for patients of innovations resulting from research, develops research on prevention and screening, and finally, informs about advances in research and knowledge of the disease.

Projects that U.S. Donors can Support

With their contributions, US donors can support cancer research programs: all types of research (clinical, translational and fundamental) in every cancer research field, including genetics, molecular biology, cell biology, and immunology, and in any cancer localization.
