Fondation Ecotone is dedicated to increasing biodiversity by supporting sustainable agricultural and food practices. Through partnerships with scientific organizations, institutions, and environmental organizations, the foundation advances knowledge on biodiversity, promotes best practices, and funds innovative initiatives to protect and restore ecosystems.

Actions Led

The foundation plays a critical role in bridging research and action, working to enhance biodiversity in agricultural landscapes and food systems. By collaborating with experts, scientific organizations, and nonprofits, it supports studies that highlight the connection between biodiversity and diets, fosters sustainable farming methods that enrich biodiversity in fields, and contributes to large-scale ecosystem restoration.

Launched in 2018 in France, it is gradually expanding its geographical scope and is already supporting a dozen projects nationwide.
