Mission & Vision
The purpose of La Cense Fonds de Dotation (La Cense Endowment Fund) is to support and assists philanthropic projects in the field of the relationship between humans, horses and nature; in particular, actions linked to education, culture, research, the dissemination of knowledge and the popularization of science, and equine mediation.
La Cense Fonds de Dotation aims at changing our view of the animal world thanks to observations and lessons learned from the relationship between humans and horses and thus contribute to the well-being of everyone.
Actions Led
La Cense fonds de dotation acts in four different fields.
- Education: it promotes ethological horse riding to as many people as possible. It also trains the professionals of tomorrow.
- Equine mediation: it helps individuals improve their resilience by revealing the sensitivity of animals.
- Culture: it raises public awareness of the nature of horses and, by extension, animal to nature.
- Heritage: it maintains La Cense 371 acre historical estate, a place dedicated to Human and Horses partnership.
Projects that U.S. Donors can Support
US donors can support the philanthropic missions of La Cense Fonds de Dotation. They can contribute to the financing of merit-based scholarships for diploma courses in ethological riding and of educational activities and content that promote the practice of ethological riding. US donors can also support equine mediation actions aimed at vulnerable or disadvantaged people. They can also fund cultural actions: events, exhibitions or transdisciplinary meetings between professionals from the equestrian and agricultural worlds, artists and scientists.
