Mission and Vision

The mission of L’Œuvre d’Orient is to help Eastern Christians to fulfil their missions in the service of the whole population. L’Œuvre d’Orient respect the principles of humanity, neutrality, and independence.

L’Œuvre d’Orient support and promote charitable and educational actions implemented by Christians, aimed at supporting Eastern populations, regardless of their religion and nationality.

Projects that U.S. Donors can Support

With their contributions, US donors can support socio-educational activities (lessons, nursing care, health care) aimed at young Syrian and Iraqi children who are displaced and/or refugees, who are hosted in Beirut, Lebanon. These activities are implemented in Beirut, Lebanon, in partnership with local long-trustworthy NGOs, to enable these underprivileged children deprived of school to get a minimum of education and care.
