Vareille Foundation main purpose is to fight against social inequalities and educational failure, by encouraging public institutions to act to change the existing system.

Donor-advised gifts to Vareille Foundation will specifically support “ Un violon dans mon école, known as A violin can change the world” a program co-constructed with French schools that includes a strong neuroscience research component.

The program reduces education inequality by teaching very young children to play the violin—a particularly demanding instrument—in intensive classes held at their own schools. Practicing an instrument has been shown to benefit many areas of the young brain: it improves cognitive ability, concentration, language development and motor skills, especially during the critical years of early childhood.
